New Product Announcements From: 6/28/2007 Modern Machine Shop Prab’s horizontal screw press is designed to recover cutting oils and coolants from metal grinding swarf and filter cake. According to the company, the press can be used as a stand-alone processor to extract as much as 80 percent of liquids or in combination with the company’s PacesetterII Briquetter to recover as much as 95 percent of fluids and obtain a near-solid metal puck. In addition to the press, the company offers magnetic, steel-belt and drag conveyors along with a line of metal-chip processing equipment.
