A sister tool to the company’s two-flute Ski-Carb, the Tri-Power Ski-Carb is a three-flute carbide end mill for use in aluminum applications.

When compared to a conventional two-flute tool, the company says the chip load per-flute is increased. This increased chip load, combined with the additional flute, can improve productivity.

The company adds that the 45-degree helix provides roughing performance and a smooth finish, while the flute structure offers enhanced chip evacuation.
