The FormulaOne presetter is designed to deliver zero reading with micro-fine adjustment. Manufactured by Dorian Tool, the presetter features a heavy alloy steel base, a digital LCD control panel, accuracy of 0.0002" and four setup origins. In addition, it is equipped with a high-precision linear guide and bearings to minimize friction along the column. The company says this provides smooth, precise movement on the X and Z axes.
The presetter can convert from absolute reading to relative reading with the push of a button. It displays radius or diameter in inch or metric units. Measuring capacity is 10" for diameter and 11.8" for height. The presetter is equipped with an interchangeable CAT40 toolholder bushing; however, it can also be used with toolholder bushings for CAT and BT 30, 40 and 50; HSK; and VDI sizes.
