The adjustable Dihart Dah Zero holders are designed to ensure maximum precision concentricity in Dihart Reamax TS reamers, even when the machine or spindle conditions are less than favorable, the company says.
 
The tooling system is a structured range of reaming heads that offers system modularity and precision. With the adjustable holders, concentricity problems in the machine or spindle can be corrected. Micro-precision adjustment of runout properties is achieved via four fitted screws. According to the company, runout problems that occur during a tool change can be corrected while the process settings remain stable. The adjustable holders are said to run without vibrating. They are suitable for fitting to a hydraulic chuck or shrink-fit holder via a cylindrical shank.
 
The holders are adjustable to an accuracy of less than 3 µm.
