Lovejoy’s tooling for composite machining is designed to trim and shape composites, graphite, fiber boards, thermoplastics and carbon fiber reinforced plastic using standard and custom compression trimmers. The tooling is designed for increased tool life and minimal delamination and fraying, the company says.
 
Both PCD-tipped WC and diamond-coated carbide WC compression trimmers are available in 0.375" and 0.500" diameters. Complementary composite tooling is also available.
