With the new development of the topas® H.E.A.T., bedra continues its
success story in the field of coated EDM wires. Practice has shown that
cutting rates increase enormously by using the coated electrodes of the
topas® product family. With topas® H.E.A.T. bedra is once again setting
a benchmark.
This EDM wire was especially designed for the
latest generation of Makino machines with the new H.E.A.T. (High Energy
Applied Technology) option and can achieve significant increases in
cutting speeds of more than 50 % as compared to plain wire while
offering highest precision. It is noteworthy that these results are
attained under the most varied working conditions, i.e. even under
unfavourable flushing conditions. Like all electrodes of the topas®
family, topas® H.E.A.T. offers a high degree of process stability due
to its excellent resistance to wire breakage. Furthermore, the
electrode can be used on older Makino machines as well. Regarding
profitability, topas® H.E.A.T. is the uncompromising alternative to
conventional brass wire, as the processing time of the workpieces can
be reduced measurably.
Besides the high process stability and
the consistently high precision, topas® H.E.A.T. convinces through an
excellent price-performance ratio. With the new EDM wire topas®
H.E.A.T. from bedra and the innovative EDM machines from Makino, users
in tool and die making will significantly improve their competitiveness.
