With a full enclosure for dust control and improved operator safety, Rush Machinery’s semi-automatic FC-250EX is designed for truing and dressing of flats, angles, and radii on diamond and CBN single wheels and multiple-wheel packs. The machine features PLC-controlled, automated dressing cycles with servo-driven dressing wheel in-feed, power swing and oscillation. Wheel diameter capacity is 14", and larger wheels also are available.
 
To increase efficiency and accuracy, the machine enables profiling, modifying profiles, and truing wheels offline of the production grinding machinery. The machine is designed for ease of operation, speed, accuracy and cost-effectiveness, the company says. A heavy-duty, one-piece, cast iron base provides extra rigidity and minimizes vibration. Other features include ExVision, a computer-driven vision system; an automatic power zoom; and a two-axis DRO for measurement.
