ITW Vortec’s two-stage Vortex A/C enclosure cooling system provides a cooling capacity of 5,000 Btu/hr. for large enclosures. Three models are available: 7770, 7670 and 7570. The coolers feature a two-stage cooling system designed to conserve compressed air. During regular usage, only the first cooling stage is used. The second cooling stage is activated when there is an increased demand for cooling, such as a high heat load, high ambient temperature in the manufacturing facility or hot weather conditions. The 7570 HazLoc model is also suitable for use in hazardous locations and is UL-classified for use in most Class 1, Div 2, Class II, Div 2 and Class III areas.
