Kotem’s SmartProfile 2.0 geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) evaluation software is designed to provide fast, accurate analysis of data compared to a part’s CAD model. It can confirm design intent for shape, form, profile, orientation and location on virtually any rigid part. The program works with point -cloud data from any measurement system, the company says. The software update includes the SmartViewer interactive point-cloud viewer to quickly visualize measured data as a color overlay on top of a CAD model.
