The Romi C-Series lathes features are based around productivity with easy operation for prototype parts or small batch sizes. For basic turning the operator can use the machine like an engine lathe using the Romi Machining Package in manual mode, with t wo hand wheels, sliding along the front of the machine on a control apron . This combined with the easy to use Siemens CNC the ROMI® goes one step further with the Cycles mode, which after minimal exposure the operator can start productive work immediately utilizing the conversational display. This was true in the case of AccuTech Marine Propeller, Inc who purchased a Romi C 420 flatbed lathe.
