The GEN2 T-A® Drilling System, offers end-users a minimum of 20 percent increase in penetration rates or a 50% increase in tool life when compared to the company's current T-A® drill insert. The new design is available in two carbide grades with the company's AM200® coating in diameters from 9.5mm -114mm, (0.374" to 4.507". The inserts fit into existing T-A® drilling system holders, and can make an immediate impact on production levels. GEN2 T-A® Drilling System utilizes Torx Plus screws for more holding power.
Allied Machine & Engineering manufactures replaceable tip drilling systems that are designed to provide commercial users with the lowest cost per hole, while increasing productivity. Standard drill inserts range in diameter from 3/8" (9.5 mm) to 4 ½" (114 mm) and are stocked for delivery. The company's standard holder allows for a depth-to-diameter drilling ratio up to 32:1. Additional offerings include specialized geometry, coatings and holders.
