AMERICAN VALUE LINE
Turning, Milling, Drilling and Boring Inserts
American National Carbide announces a new turning grade insert for high speed machining of stainless steel and most steels in roughing to semi-finishing applications. The new AN2025 grade has a tough cobalt-enriched substrate and a multi-layered ceramic CVD coating to enhance edge strength. Other benefits include good resistance to flank wear and plastic deformation, low fracture toughness with medium abrasion resistance. In addition, the multi-layered coating provides strength and lubricity. AN2025 is available in a variety of chip-control geometries-HF positive rake grade for high speed finishing and PGR-style for fine finishing.
Designed and manufactured by American National Carbide for cost cutting results, the new P Series, Double sided turning inserts are Available in three new grades, with three styles of chipbreaker geometries and coated with a multi-layer coating. · AN 3015 for finishing and light roughing with excellent resistance to flank wear, and plastic deformation · AN 3025 with excellent chip control for general purpose applications · AN 3035 for roughing, low speeds, hig feeds and heavy depths of cut American National Carbide is a vertically integrated manufacturer of high quality carbide products from powder to finished ground inserts.
*Knives for Debarking Heads *Chipper Knives and Anvils *Inserts for Heavy Duty Size Reduction and Recycling Equipment *Stump Cutting Teeth *Pallet Notching Inserts *Large Saw Tips and Saw Disk Teeth *Planer Blades American National Carbide manufactures a wide range of products for the primary and secondary wood processing industries, including knives for debarking heads, chipper knives and anvils, stump cutting teeth, pallet notching inserts, large saw tips, planer blades, and inserts for heavy duty size reduction and recycling equipment. All of our wood processing products are offered in proven wear and impact resistant grades, as well as nail cutting grades, when required. For products to be brazed, enhanced brazeability is achieved by way of a proprietary surface-treatment process that increases wettability.
At American National Carbide we know the importance of cutting teeth in rock drilling tools. We specialize in producing tungsten carbide compacts: chisels, conicals, domes, ballistics. Plus geophysical, roller reamers, stabilizers, gage packs and wear parts. We manufacture in house to high quality standards from several impact and abrasion resistant carbide grades in standard or custom design. All backed up by full service support. No matter the job, down hole or directional, you can be confident our high quality inserts will deliver top performance and excellent value for your money. Whether you are an original equipment manufacturer or re-tipper, fit your bit with teeth that bite.
