Designed to eliminate machine tool runout

The most overlooked cause of machine tool runout stems from wear of the spindle bearings.  For every .0001" T.I.R. you remove out of your cutting operation, tool life may be increased up to 10%.  With that in mind, it is critical to make sure your spindle is not the cause.  Without a precision test bar there is no sure way of knowing the spindles condition.  Briney precision test bars ship in a protective wooded crate and certificate included.  Available in CAT, HSK and BT styles.

Briney End Mill Holder Design Briney Eccentric Bore Tooling, an innovative, proven end mill holder designed to reduce total indicator runout (TIR) typical of all end mill holders using a set screw or Weldon flat set screw by 75%. Improving the out-of-concentric condition of the tool holder bore from .0008" to .0002", the Briney holders feature an eccentric bore, imparting .0003" eccentricity in the direction of the set screw. The company developed an internal grinding process to impart the feature consistently to any of its end mill holders, regardless of size, without affecting other tool holder features and tolerances.
