High power in a compact design: the Handtmann 5-axis HBZ Trunnion horizontal machining centre.
Our latest development in 2013 is our HBZ TR Trunnion series of 5-axis horizontal machining centers which achieves significant productivity benefits on a full range of components. The TR series offers three different table sizes - the HBZ TR 80 (table size 800 mm), HBZ TR 120 (table size 1200 mm) and HBZ TR 160 (table size 1600 mm) – to meet all costumer requirements.
The TR has independent X, Y and Z axis and a rotary table for C and A axis. The single piece machine bed design and three point floor mounting provides ultra high rigidity and process reliability to the “Power Cube” with 1G AC/DC. With its wide range of sizes and various spindle options, the HBZ TR Trunnion can be configured for titanium (spindle data: 1,010 Nm max. and HSK 100A) or aluminium applications (spindle data: 30,000 rpm and 125 kW max.).
