IMAS TRANSFER was established in Italy in 1948 by the Dell’Orto family. A family firm, specializing in machining and prototype development, the company successfully expanded in into the dial and transfer machine field. Over the last fifteen years it has steadily progressed into a major international organization with an impressive list of reference installations.

In 1984 IMAS started US operations opening IMAS Dell’Orto of America, Inc.

During year 2000 IMAS TRANSFER, then a division of Dell’Orto S.p.A., was spun off to become a separate entity with its own management and direction.

The company has one main manufacturing plant in excess of 150,000 Sq.Ft. and employs approximately 170 people.

In the rotary transfer field, the IMAS TRANSFER name is linked to innovation and the application of proven technology, incorporating modular hardware and software systems. These factors have contributed toward its success in the international market arena.
