New Product Announcement - TP530 Rotary Table
Provided By
Kitagawa-NorthTech, Inc.
Schaumburg, IL – January 3, 2013 - KITAGAWA-NORTHTECH, INC. delivers state-of-the-art rotary table design.
Catering to the oil, gas and aerospace industries, Kitagawa-NorthTech provides a new state-of-the-art rotary table design displaying an extremely compact body that exhibits a 4x smaller footprint than conventional NCRT designs, with 440 pounds less weight distribution. Even with a significantly smaller body and lower weight, the TP530 upholds a mega through-hole design at 13.6 inches, matching conventional NCRT’s without exceeding table load limitations. Unlike the larger 31.6 inch rotary tables, the TP530 features a low center height of 12.2 inches and high Z-axis clearance. This also provides a comfortable fit within most machines, rather than purchasing a new machine to fit around the rotary table due to excessive size. This advanced mega through-hole model still upholds accuracy, withstands heavy cutting conditions and retains a high clamping force of 6100Nm / 4,499 ft-lb.; which is a perfect design for machining large work pieces such as oil pipes.
Kitagawa-NorthTech is determined to lead the way in Redefining Productivity™ for customers world-wide through continual advancements that significantly cut costs and increase machining possibilities.

Kitagawa-NorthTech, Inc. strengthened their supplemental chuck offerings by adding an advanced lubrication solution, Chuck Grease Pro.
Schaumburg, IL – June 10, 2011 – Kitagawa-NorthTech, Inc. proudly announces the addition of Chuck Grease Pro to their supplemental chuck offerings. Generating heightened performance, Chuck Grease Pro retains 20% more grip force over the course of (8) hours as compared to Chuck-EEZ grease. Shops utilizing general purpose grease rather than Chuck Grease Pro can experience up to 50% grip force loss, a 3x reduction in chuck life and heightened safety risks. Chuck Grease Pro is also aesthetically preferable due to its translucent white color that will reduce negative appearance results on machines and parts, unlike general black grease. Todd Peterson, Owner and President of Peterson Machining, Inc. in Boulder, Colorado states,”High praise to Kitagawa Chuck Grease Pro! In the 21 plus years of running lathes, I have never used a better product. First and foremost, the white color and not having black grease all over my parts and machines initially got me started on seeking out the product. I found myself greasing the chuck more frequently because I did not have to be concerned about the mess and having to take extra steps to clean the parts. After using the grease for a few months now, I have learned of the additional benefits. There is less internal chuck stiction. The chuck pressure clamping force is higher with a lower hydraulic pressure setting. What an outstanding product. I am definitely a fan and will use nothing else in our lathes.”

DL SERIES POWER CHUCKS FROM KITAGAWA OFFER THE LATEST IN ROTATIONAL WORKHOLDING INNOVATION
DL SERIES POWER CHUCKS FROM KITAGAWA OFFER THE LATEST IN ROTATIONAL WORKHOLDING INNOVATION
Provided By
Kitagawa-NorthTech, Inc.
Kitagawa’s DL Series Dual Lock Power Chuck is the newest innovation in rotational workholding.
The DL Series represents the first radial guideway power chuck with no jaw lifting, and z-axis repeatability near zero.
Because traditional workholding solutions for length control involve some form of "pull back" chuck, jaw stroke length is typically compromised. Also, traditional solutions may interfere with the z-axis loading of the workpiece. Kitagawa's new DL Series Power Chuck directly addresses these design challenges.
The DL Series Chuck actuates and clamps the workpiece using traditional radial actuation. Then, in the second part of the actuation, as the chuck develops gripping force the DL Series Chuck performs a final axial, z-axis pull-back movement to a fixed stop. This unique two-step actuation ensures highly accurate length control and superb axial repeatability. The DL Series Chuck features wide gripping diameters, for both I.D. and O.D. gripping. The Kitagawa DL is sealed to keep dust particles out and lubrication in, it allows for seating confirmation and is ideal for use in automation lines.
The DL-Series Power Chuck is available in 6" and 8" sizes and accepts conventional serrated jaws.

Kitagawa-NorthTech, Inc.
Maximizing chuck performance is critical to stabilizing the machining process and maintaining high repeatability and part quality. To help customers improve and monitor the stability of their chuck, Kitagawa-NorthTech introduces a new wireless grip force gauge to their family of chuck accessories. Designed to quickly and accurately measure holding force and RPM on a chuck, this sensor can take measurements when the chuck is static or dynamic, greatly increasing opportunities for more accurate readings. There are two standard sizes available: 72 mm sensors measure 2 and 3 jaw chucks, and a 125mm sensor that measures 2, 3 and 4 jaw chucks. Complete sets are available in both sizes containing a sensor, standard rest pads, RPM magnetic wand, display and padded carrying case. Custom sensors and extension rings for larger size chucks are also available.
