LMC Workholding is the present entity of the Logansport Machine Company which from 1916 to the present has built a reputation for quality engineering and manufacture of chucks and workholding equipment. In 1989 Logansport became associated with Matsumoto Machine Company, a world-class partner and international leader in ISO-certified power chucks, rotary tables and other workholding devices.
Four years later, in 1993, LMC forged an alliance with Neidlein Spannzeuge GmbH to sell the internationally recognized line of Neidlein face drivers and live centers in the United States and Canada.
In 2001 LMC entered into a relationship with Atlings Maskinfabrik AB of Ockelbo, Sweden, to sell and service world-famous Atling self-centering steady rests in the North and South American markets.
