Stack and Nest Containers - Material Handling
Stack and Nest Containers - Material Handling

Stack and Nest Containers - Material Handling
Molded Fiber Glass Tray Company stack and nest containers are strong and durable. The stack and nest design saves you valuable space: stack when full, nest when empty, alternating at 180° positions. Because of the reinforced thermoset composite material, these nest and stack containers can withstand temperatures from -60 degrees F to 250 degrees F constant temperature, and 300 degrees F plus for intermittent use.
Our stack and nest containers offer a smooth outside surface and radial angles for easy and safe handling, and resist most oils, moisture, chemicals and solvents as well as irradiation. Formulations for Molded Fiber Glass Tray Company formulates its stack and nest containers for chemical resistance, autoclavability, flame retardant, food handling, degreaser resistance and ESD protection, as well as the basic formulation for general purpose use.

Parts Washing Basket
Parts Washing Basket

Molded Fiber Glass Tray Company parts washing baskets - reinforced composite containers - are not affected by oils, grease, degreasing operations or cutting oils. Designed for a heavy payload, these parts washing baskets are easily cleaned in hot water or steam using standard industrial detergents.

Molded Fiber Glass Tray Company parts washing baskets are kinder to your metal parts than metal baskets and have slots in sidewalls for faster draining. Additionally, they serve as a labor saving two-fold use- from secondary process cleaning to work-in-process primary storage. By minimizing or eliminating the "dumps" from container to container the end result is less labor and reduced part / scrap damage. Another key advantage of the durable FRP construction versus stainless steel baskets is safety. Metal baskets frequently break and can expose dangerous wires which present an employee safety hazard and can also damage sensitive parts.

The addition of a dolly to the bottom of a stack can provide easy movement of parts from workstation to workstation. Customers choose stacking containers and stacking storage containers for heavy-duty storage, work-in-progress or distribution applications.

Because of the reinforced thermoset composite material, these stacking containers can withstand temperatures from -60 degrees F to 250 degrees F constant temperature, and 300 degrees F plus for intermittent use.

Material Matters in Material Handling
A new marketing campaign from material-handling product manufacturer MFG Tray encourages end users to “think inside the box” and appreciate the performance benefits that composites can bring to their applications. “There are a number of instances in which composites are simply a better choice, and we’re encouraging end users to understand that the material really does matter in material handling,” says John Blicha, director of marketing.   The company offers a variety of containers, totes and trays in stacking, nesting and nest-and-stack designs for an array of material handling, storage and processing applications in industrial, electronic, food service, pharmaceutical and confectionary applications.
