Motoman's SIA20D (slim, individual arm) robot features a revolutionary actuator-based 7-axis design with best-in-class wrist performance characteristics that enables freedom of movement, coupled with the ability to maneuver in tight areas. Featuring a 20 kg (44.1 lb) payload, the compact SIA20D is only 330 mm (13") wide at its widest point. Short axis lengths and extreme motion flexibility allow the slim SIA20D manipulator to be positioned outside the normal working area without limiting the motion range of any axis. The SIA20D robot is controlled by the new, next-generation DX100 robot and system-level controller.
The agile, versatile SIA20D opens up a wide range of industrial applications to robots and is ideal for assembly, injection molding, inspection, machine tending and a host of other operations.

Motoman's slim, dual-arm SDA10D robot is strong, quick and agile. It provides "human-like" flexibility with 15 axes of motion (7 axes per arm, plus a single axis for base rotation). Powerful actuator-based design and best-in-class wrist characteristics make the SDA10D robot suited for a variety of assembly, part transfer, machine tending, packaging and other handling tasks that formerly could only be done by people.
Both robot arms can work together on one task to double the payload or handle heavy, unwieldy parts. The ability to use dual independent arms to process parts reduces the need for expensive custom fixturing and allows end-of-arm tooling to be simple and less costly. The SDA10D is controlled by the new, next-generation DX100 robot and system-level controller.

New! MH5L Robot

Compact, powerful and economical, Motoman's new six-axis MH5 and MH5L robots require minimal installation space and offer superior performance in small part handling applications such as assembly, machine tending and packaging, dispensing and other tasks. The MH5 and MH5L robots yield extraordinary production results while requiring minimal capital investment.
The MH5 model features a 706 mm (27.8") reach and offers the widest work envelope in its class. When a large work envelope is required, the MH5L model provides an 895 mm (35.2") reach. These robots feature a 5 kg (11 lb) payload, but adjust their performance based on the load they are carrying. This allows the robots to be used effectively for payloads as low as 1 kg. Both are controlled by the new, next-generation DX100 robot and system-level controller.
