WA1 is a whisker-reinforced ceramic grade and has a higher silicon-carbide content than other competitor's whisker-reinforced ceramics. WA1 is an excellent choice for finishing and semi-finishing high nickel alloys. WA1 shows increased productivity and extended reliability in applications where toughness and notching resistance are required.
