Special designed self centering / compansating chuck KFD size 1600/6

Large bearing housings are tough to clamp. This hydraulic operated special chuck size 1600/6 was designed to hold rings from 15" to 60" with swiveling top jaws. The chuck works in compensating mode for OP. 1 to clamp un machined parts and hydraulically changes to self centering mode to clamp machined round diameters.
The top tooling is designed to provide up to 24 clamping points equally spread around the diameter of the part to prevent distortion

Rohm Face Driver with friction driving disc to drive hard shafts between centers

Rohm power or manual operated Face Drivers with quick change driving discs and spring loaded or fixed centers have improved manufacturing of shafts since many years. Now we have a solution to drive hardened shafts which are faced and centered for hard turning operation with out a deep expense for Workholding. Friction driving plates on top of quick change driving discs are inexpensive and fast to change for different turning diameters. Shafts can be machined over the full length in one set up.
