Moldmaking Software Communicates With 256 CNCs
Shop Floor Automations’ Predator DNC software allows moldmaking applications to communicate with as many as 256 CNCs simultaneously from a single PC. While other applications are running, the software works in the background, to drip-feed large programs typically used by mold makers. The software also includes a Server Safe mode to protect against lost data in the event of a network crash during drip-feed transfers.
Intelligent Code Editing
Predator CNC Editor version 8. 0 features intelligent code NC editing, side-by-side file compare, single-channel DNC, color G/M code support and integrated 3D graphical solid verification and wireframe backplotting. The release includes CNC programming wizards, OpenGL-based backplotting and the introduction of customer, part and job details within the program using Predator CNC Editor Enterprise version.
Monitor Shopfloor Activity
Distributed by Shop Floor Automations, the fully automated Predator MDC allows users to monitor machine activity, track jobs and manage personnel. The release of v8. 0 is said to be faster, easier and more comprehensive than previous versions.
What is new for Shop Floor Automations in 2016:
Even with the year almost at a close, SFA will be premiering new software versions, showing the public new programs that are a must-have on the shop floor, as well as premiering a brand new hardware product.
SFA will exhibit at IMTS (Chicago IL) in September 2016, Fabtech (Las Vegas NV) in November 2016, and at Houstex (Houston TX) in late February 2017.
