TE-CO Acquires Parlec Workholding Line
Workholding supplier TE-CO (Union, Ohio) has announced that it has concluded its purchase of the workholding line of Parlec (Fairport, New York). The company says the acquisition will complement and strengthen its current offering of jig and fixture components; spring and ball plungers; CMM fixturing; the Toolex Vise workholding system; and other products.
Magnetic Workholding Devices In Two Styles
The company features two styles of magnetic workholding devices: permanent magnetic blocks and electro-permanent magnets. According to the company, magnets are ideal for machining flat stock steel because they provide access to five sides of the workpiece. Part setups are quick and easy, the company says, and the magnetic devices maintain maximum hold-down force.
Locator Jaws For Single-Station Vise Applications
Te-Co’s Locator Master Jaws for single-station vise applications are said to be compatible with most vise systems. The jaws can be bolted to a vise, allowing the user to snap parallels in and out quickly and accurately, the company says. The jaws also have built-in workstop pins that can be pushed in and out to locate workpieces.
