Groove'N Turn® Insertable Tooling

THINBIT® offers Groove 'N Turn®, a patented and patent pending, multi-directional grooving and turning tool system.
Groove 'N Turn® inserts are available in groove widths from .004" through .150" in .001” increments. Face grooving style inserts have major diameters of .300", .750", 1.250" and 3". Threading inserts are available for 4 threads per inch and greater. Inserts are capable of working against a shoulder
Grooving inserts are available in high speed steel and two grades of impact resistant, sub-micron grain carbide. Several coating options are also available.
Custom geometries including radius, lead angles, modified threading and blank geometries are available for shipment from 72 hours.

DEEPGROOVE® Insertable Tooling

Presenting Thinbit®'s support blade style tooling for deep grooving, parting, face grooving and threading.
Inserts are available in 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6mm groove widths with cutting depths up to 1". Face grooving style tools have major diameters starting at .787"(20mm).
Deepgroove® inserts are capable of working against a shoulder or bore wall and are made from impact resistant sub-micron grain carbide. Several coating options are also available.
