A Special Message from Toyoda Machinery Standard Products Division

Toyoda Expands VMC Line for High-Speed Applications

FV1050S High Speed Vertical Machining Center

Toyoda Machinery is excited to announce the addition of two new high-speed linear way machines to its vertical machining line. The new machines are designed to deliver high performance and extreme precision in high-speed applications. The FV-S machines offer high accuracy, thermal stability, and maximum vibration dampening characteristics.

Toyoda's FV850S and FV1050S high speed vertical machining centers rely upon an extremely rigid Meehanite cast iron base. This solid base offers higher density and uniform soundness over traditional cast iron, giving the casting greater tensile strength and maximum vibration-dampening capabilities. Rapid traverse rates reach 1890 ipm in the X- and Y- axes and 1417 ipm in the Z.

A Fanuc 18i CNC features a large color LCD display with manual guide and i conversational programming. The high performance spindle and automatic tool changer technology delivers drastic improvements in machine operability and part throughput over previous VMC generations.

Toyoda Machinery is one of the largest machine tool manufacturers worldwide.
