Range Of Grinding Machines
The new Macro series of Micron machines from Peter Wolters is designed for deep, profile and high-performance grinding. Other available products include the AC 640-F high-precision, double-wheel fine grinding machine with loading table; the BD 300-L linear finishing and deburring system; the DDG 450 double-sided plane surface grinder; and the VM 130 TWIZ high-volume, production ID grinder.
Peter Wolters Acquires Micron
Peter Wolters, a manufacturer of high-precision machine tools in Rendsburg, Germany, has acquired the Micron precision CNC grinder range in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Kay Petersen, CEO of Peter Wolters, says the acquisition will complement the company’s existing solutions for the aircraft turbine and power generation industries. The transaction adds a series of free-form three-, four-, five- and six-axis machines for creep feed grinding and high-efficiency deep grinding (HEDG) to Peter Wolters existing portfolio, which includes lapping, grinding, polishing and deburring products.
