Automation is a multiplier. Allowing robots to execute repetitive tasks expands the amount of production and the number of simultaneous operations that a human can oversee. Rather than being a replacement for employees, automation is leverage that increases the value of an individual employee by freeing this person to focus attention on the work that requires human knowledge or human judgment.
