Get Your “A Brand” On at OSG USA for a Chance to Win
OSG USA has brought its A-game to IMTS by putting a spotlight on its A Brand of cutting tools.
OSG USA Inc. has brought its A-game to IMTS by putting a spotlight on its A Brand cutting tools.
“Our new booth design is an open floorplan where we will be displaying all of our newest tooling innovations, including our new A Brand product line,” says Marketing Manager Donna Gialo. “A Brand is OSG’s premium tooling brand that represents the quality assurance OSG guarantees to every customer. A Brand products are designed to exceed the evolving manufacturing needs of our customers.”
To help drive home the new A Brand and its advantages, OSG is giving away a limited-edition T-shirt to IMTS attendees. Gialo says these are available while supplies last. We did ask her what makes the T-shirts special, but attendees will have to find out by visiting the booth! What she did tell us, however, is that attendees who receive a T-shirt and are willing to walk the show wearing it will be eligible to win one of two custom-made guitars. “The guitars are designed by our talented team of engineers and manufactured in the USA at our Bensenville, Illinois, factory,” she says. It should be noted that the guitars are also made from aluminum and are on display in the booth.
OSG is a big supporter of the industry and often donates cutting tools to Ilinois high schools and community colleges for use in teaching machining. As part of its IMTS program, the company is hosting an event for students on Thursday featuring a factory tour, presentations and lunch at the Bensenville plant. In addition to getting hands-on product demos at the factory, the group is also being transported to IMTS to visit the OSG booth and enjoy a guided tour of the event. “The OSG booth fits heavily into the tour at IMTS, but the students are seeing a variety of technologies in CNC machining or machine tool applications, specifically as it pertains to the automotive, aerospace, medical, and die and mold industries, which comprise OSG’s core end-user base,” explains Paul Wilhelm, OSG’s human resource generalist.
