See Orange County Chopper’s Hydromat Anniversary Motorcycle Today
As part of its upcoming 40th anniversary celebration, Hydromat engaged Orange County Choppers (OCC) to build a custom motorcycle to celebrate this milestone, with OCC’s founder Paul Teutul Sr. at the event for the unveiling.
In 2019 Hydromat Inc. will celebrate their 40th Anniversary (1979-2019). As part of this upcoming celebration, the company has engaged Orange County Choppers (OCC) to build a custom commemorative motorcycle.
The chopper is themed with the Hydromat logo style. There is just a hint from the OCC head designer, Jason Pohl, that we may see this chopper utilizing the red color theme of the new Eclipse machine to tie the past to the present.
Bruno Schmitter, Hydromat CEO/COO and co-founder, and Matthias Walter, president, are welcoming OCC’s founder Paul Teutul Sr. to the event for the unveiling of the Hydromat chopper. The big reveal is happening today at 11:00 a.m. in Hydromat’s booth in the South Building. All are encouraged to stop by to watch and take part.
Orange County Choppers has been the center of the hit TV reality series “American Chopper,” which debuted in September 2002 on the Discovery Channel. Now, after a five-year hiatus, the show has returned to the network with all new episodes. Paul Teutul Sr. and Paul Teutul Jr. are reunited in the current version of the show as the world-class motorcycle builders return to claim their place atop the world of customized motorcycle building.
OCC bikes are customized and built around a theme or for a broad spectrum of motorcycle enthusiasts around the world. The design and build of the 40th Anniversary Hydromat bike will feature in an upcoming episode of “American Chopper.”
