David Lyell Former Associate Editor

David Lyell was the associate editor at Modern Machine Shop. In addition to writing feature articles, David managed case studies for the print magazine, you can find these in a section called “Better Production.”

David joined the MMS team in 2020 as an experienced magazine writer and professional photographer/videographer to fill the senior managing editor role. He joined the writing team in 2021.
