Through the end of the year, National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA) companies can support workforce development when purchasing cutting tools, toolholders and workholding products. Between November 1 and December 31, 2018, Big Kaiser will donate 2 percent of every order from an NTMA company directly to the National Robotics League (NRL).

The NRL is the NTMA’s workforce development program in which students are challenged to design and build robots for competitions, gaining knowledge and skills that help prepare them for careers in manufacturing. “This is a way for us to support our customers and members in the NTMA, and to promote workforce development and STEM programs through the National Robotics League,” explains Big Kaiser President and CEO Chris Kaiser.

To ensure that their orders are counted toward the NRL donation, companies should follow two steps. First, when placing an order through a local distributor, they should request “drop-ship from Big Kaiser.” Companies should also reference “BK-NRL” as a line item on the order.
