This floating oil skimmer uses Abanaki’s Fuzzy2 to more effectively collect oil from the surface of open waters.

Abanaki Corporation manufactures a line of oil skimmers and related products to help shops maintain their metalworking fluids and coolant. Other products include those for heavy-duty industrial applications and special-purpose skimmers used in construction and oil field applications. Recently, the company got involved in a truly massive oil-skimming project—coping with the oil well catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico. Apparently, the same technology and expertise that help metalworking companies is helping with the cleanup from this disaster.
