Registration is now open for the annual trade show. Though the venue is familiar, this year’s event is expanding its offerings for tool- and moldmakers.
This year’s Amerimold will host equipment demonstrations on the exhibit floor for the first time. Register for the event.
Taking place June 14-15, the 2017 edition of Amerimold returns to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. Though the venue is familiar, this year’s event is expanding its offerings for tool- and moldmakers.
In addition to more than 200 exhibitors displaying equipment and services for mold manufacturing, the 2017 show will also include:
- Amerimold Tech Talks, a new addition to the show floor. These presentations will cover all aspects of the injection molding lifecycle and offer insights and best practices. A complete schedule is available here.
- Live equipment demonstrations. For the first time, attendees will be able to witness demos from selected builders on the show floor.
- The first-ever pre-show workshop. Presented by UL, the workshop is titled “Foundations of Additive Manufacturing for Toolmaking and Injection Molding” and takes place June 13. Additional registration fees apply.
Pre-registration is available through May 10 and includes complimentary access to the exhibit hall, showfloor presentations and demos, and networking opportunities.
Amerimold is presented by Modern Machine Shop and sister publications MoldMaking Technology and Plastics Technology.

Andrew Tordanato of Diversified Manufacturing Technologies shares the questions to answer before adding 3D printing capability to your manufacturing operation.

Machining a large 3D-printed part for aerospace composite tooling is fundamentally different than manufacturing the part traditionally. Baker Industries knows this first-hand.
