Duncan Machine Products (DMP) is a precision-machining company that is a key supplier to all major industrial sectors. Owned by Teri and Chris Billings, DMP started in the Billings’ garage in 2007 and now occupies over 50,000 square feet. DMP looked for an Additive Manufacturing (AM) solution that could complement their subtractive manufacturing experience, and one that their existing CNC programmers could learn. DMP found a solution that satisfied those requirements and will also capture more business opportunities and fabricate parts that aren’t possible by yesterday’s standards. Learn about their entrepreneurial journey and strategic decision to invest in metal AM.

Primary Topics:

  • Why metal AM presents a unique opportunity to machine shops
  • How AM is a strategic differentiator in today's economic climate
  • Understand how metal AM can complement subtractive manufacturing
