ABB Robotics Announces Certification Program
The program’s classes are directed at customer employees who work with robots.
ABB Robotics (Auburn Hills, Michigan) has developed a certification program to enable customers’ employees to become certified robot maintenance technicians and/or robot programmers. The curriculum is currently offered in five specific application areas, including arc welding, spot welding, laser cutting, material handling and painting. Classes are taught by certified ABB instructors and supported by comprehensive course materials dedicated to each application. Certification in each area is awarded after the successful completion of all course work and a cumulative, online final exam. The program is targeted to engineers, technicians and programmers who work with robots.
Instruction, hands-on training, and qualification assessments are conducted at each of the ABB U.S. Robotics training facilities in North America. Visit abb.us/roboticstraining for more information and complete class listings.
