AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology has announced that the MFG Meeting will be held April 1-5, 2020, at the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa.

“In its ninth year, AMT’s annual MFG Meeting has become an annual tradition for AMT members to network with their peers and learn from industry thought leaders. Presentations focus on the most important issues in the market today — transformational technology, economic forecasts, business leadership and industry best practices to attract a variety of interests and all leadership levels. As always, we include a number of social activities for relaxed networking with peers as well as a program for spouses,” says Pat McGibbon, chief knowledge officer.

MFG Meeting speakers include:

  • Alan Beaulieu, president of ITR Economics, will share his insights on and forecasts on the global and manufacturing economies, the upcoming business cycle, and key trends.
  • Dr. Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics, will share his predictions for the 2020 presidential election as well as 2020 elections for the House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate and governorships, and what they will mean for manufacturing.
  • Colette Carlson, motivational speaker and author, will share her experience and recommendations for creating and sustaining effective connections in the workplace that drive productivity, engagement and collaboration.

The Al Moore AMT Leadership Award will be awarded to Lee Morris of Morris Group and Brian Papke of Mazak Corp.
