AMT Hires Travis Egan as Vice President of Business Development

Travis Egan will oversee the development of the association’s brand, marketing and member services.

AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology has hired Travis Egan as vice president of business development. Mr. Egan’s position will involve introducing the suite of AMT offerings to association members as well as developing new products, services and markets.

According to the association, Mr. Egan’s expertise in driving growth through new business development, product development and team management will promote AMT’s engagement with the industry, both in the United States and around the world, according to the association. Mr. Egan will oversee marketing/brand and member services.  

“I am excited to join the team at AMT and fortunate to be working for such a respected organization that prides itself on innovation and customer service,” says Mr. Egan. “I look forward to working with the industry’s knowledgeable professionals to continually enhance how we meet the members’ needs and accelerate the adoption of new manufacturing technology.”

Previously, Mr. Egan was Gardner Business Media’s Group Publisher for metalworking brands, including Modern Machine Shop, Production Machining, MoldMaking Technology, and Additive Manufacturing. Mr. Egan also served on Gardner’s executive team and board of directors.
