C.R. Onsrud To Host Livestream Events in August, September 2020
C.R. Onsrud has announced plans to host two Keep America Machining livestream event series. A Wood and Plastics machining event will have sessions August 20, 21 and 25. The Metal and Composites event will have sessions September 10, 11 and 15.
“In the wake of the coronavirus, it is harder than ever to be a manufacturer — additional safety measures are required to protect our workforce, and the canceling of large gatherings like trade shows makes it harder to find great resources for new technologies to stay competitive,” the company says. “C.R. Onsrud is introducing the Keep America Machining livestream event to help provide resources for education, idea exchange and exposure to the best new technologies.”
The events will include live tours of C.R. Onsrud’s manufacturing facility, presentations on its latest machining products, live CNC demonstrations, Q&A sessions with industry experts, one-on-one consultations, financing advice and analysis, and more.
Attendees can find out more and register for event sessions at info.cronsrud.com/2020events.
The force that holds the toolholder in the machining center's spindle can weaken over time. If you haven't checked drawbar force in a while, this may be the weak link in your process.
Cryogenic machining achieves dramatic tool life gains not by flooding the cut, but by refrigerating the tool.
