The renewal comes after the former company decided to compare various options for simulation and verification, including its own in-house solutions.
Open Mind has been using MachineWorks algorithms since 2002 for, among other applications, high-end jobs in the automotive and aerospace industry, the company says. MachineWorks provides material removal simulation within the hyperMill graphics window with dynamic rotation and zooming. It also produces a machined stock model for further analysis.
