PMTS 2015 Garners Record Number of Exhibitors, Pre-Registrants

The Precision Machining Technology Show (PMTS) opened April 21, 2015 in Columbus, Ohio, with the largest exhibit hall and pre-registration total in event history, according to PMTS managers and Gardner Business Media. Presented by the Precision Machined Products Association (PMPA) in partnership with Production Machining magazine, the biennial show included 278 exhibitors displaying more than 70,000 square feet of equipment and service technology used for the manufacture of high-volume, precision products.

“The continued growth of PMTS is exciting on several levels, but most exciting is what the growth signifies for American manufacturing,” says Allison Miller, director of events. “PMTS 2015 is where companies go to research and invest in new equipment technology. The confidence to research and invest doesn’t just mean that companies are active today, but that they are making plans to compete and succeed tomorrow. The willingness to innovate and invest is what will drive manufacturing for years to come.”

Complementing the increased exhibit hall, the show garnered more than 4,750 pre-registrants, a total that surpasses the most recent pre-show total by more than 12 percent. Registrants included owners, executives and engineers from contract manufacturers and OEMs involved in precision machined product production.
