Steel Turning Insert Grade Resists Wear
Tungaloy’s T9225 insert grade for steel turning is the latest addition to the T9200 CVD grade series.
Tungaloy’s T9225 insert grade for steel turning, part of the T9200 CVD grade series, features a thick, wear-resistant Al2O3 coating in a uniformly aligned layer; a ceramic outermost layer with greater hardness; and Tungaloy’s PremiumTec post surface treatment for stable machining.
The steel turning grade is said to be effective in a wide range of applications, ensuring long tool life and stable performance for improved productivity. The T9225 includes the -TSF, -TM and -TH chipbreakers. A total of 349 inserts are introduced in T9225.
