Cincinnati Incorporated (Cincinnati, Ohio) says Webcam demonstrations enable customers to view its laser cutting systems, press breaks and material handling equipment in action without the time or cost associated with traveling to the builder's facility. "We realize it's difficult to take a full day or two to see a machine demonstration. While the virtual demo does not substitute for an in-person experience, it's a nice first step to learning more about our equipment and seeing it in action," says Matt Garbarino, marketing manager.
The virtual demos feature live part cutting or bending as well as streaming video. Participants can view the demo from a variety of webcam angles, watch the machine's control, and ask to see special features. The demos last approximately 45 minutes each, including a question-and-answer period. They are facilitated by a desktop sharing program that enables participants to interact and ask questions from a PC, Mackintosh or tablet device.
