Lagun presents Zayer’s 30-degree head designed as a compact, five-axis VMC work head for both positioning and continuous applications. The head supports the flexibility needed for reaching tight spots, including negative angles of 30 degrees. It can also return to its home position after an accidental crash, enabling the operator to quickly resume work. Available with an optional electrospindle, the head can reach speeds as high as 24,000 rpm and can maintain its precision and cutting strength in the unclamped position. The 30-degree head is included with all of Zayer’s bed-, bridge-, gantry- and traveling-column-type milling machines.
