The design of the Revolution drill permits adjustability of 0.2" (5.1 mm) on diameter, which eliminates the need for special and/or subsequent boring operations, the company says. According to the company, the insert design promotes effective chip control and aggressive penetration rates. The removable cartridges are designed to make insert replacement fast and easy. The drill ranges in diameter from 1.75" to 4.0", using only 12 different holders and three lengths as long as 4.5 × D.
