Bal-Tec’s Snake Ball gage is designed to measure the diameter of a length of tubing or pipe. Instead of a loose ball used for a “puff test,” the Snake Ball features a continuous wire or cable that passes through the center of the ball and comes out of both sides. The cable enables the ball to be pulled into or out of the tube to prevent blockage. The device is also available with smaller-diameter balls on the ends of the wires for smoother passage through joints and plastic-covered wire cable for applications with delicate surfaces.
