BIG KAISER Introduces Sphinx's High-Performance Nirox Drill
BIG KAISER has introduced Sphinx’s Nirox high-performance drill, which specializes in use cases with low cutting speeds in unstable environments.
BIG KAISER Precision Tooling has added Sphinx’s Nirox high-performance drill to its cutting tool lineup. Available in diameters from 0.30-3.00 mm, the company recommends using the Nirox at low cutting speeds in unstable environments. The Nirox’s geometry has a degressive helix angle equal to 30 degrees at the point and is designed for accurate and precise hole location up to 9 times the diameter.
A TiAlSiN-based coating enhances chip and coolant evacuation in difficult-to-machine and adhesive materials, such as titanium, Inconel, stainless steel, hardened steel and CoCr alloys.
