Center Offers Simultaneous Three-Axis Drilling, Marking, Sawing

Knuth Machine Tools’ BeamCenter CNC 1200 saw and drill press center is designed for simultaneous three-axis drilling, marking and sawing for centrally controlled, customizable beam production.

The center features four station toolchangers per spindle; 47" × 31" sawing capacity with swivel ranging from +60 degrees/-45 degrees; a feed and discharge unit with material positioning ranging to 66 ft.; and a movable embossing head for marking static materials.

The center is equipped with a Siemens Simatic PC control, which enables programs for automatic operation to be captured, edited and managed directly at the machine. Input templates (masks) are designed for ease of use and provide direct access to machining data.
