The Mowidec TT centering device is designed to help users set up machines accurately and quickly, saving time and money. It is suitable for virtually all Swiss-type auto lathes, as well as other in applications such as multi-spindle lathes, transfer machines, milling machines and others.
The device’s control panel can be fit on the machine housing by magnetic pads and displays measurements in inches and millimeters within a micron accuracy. An electronic proximity sensor provides high-precision measurement without any contact. With some small adaptations, the system also is capable of checking the alignment of the headstock, guide bush and sub-spindle.
