The 16C collet block can be mounted on any horizontal or vertical machining center in production environments, toolroom applications, assembly operations or inspection and surface grinding applications. It accepts all standard 16C round, hexagon, square and special-shape collets, plus step chucks and the company’s Sure-Grip expanding collet systems. The collet block can also use standard 5C tooling with a collet adapter. The block is pneumatically actuated with a manually operated valve. Valve assembly is included for direct connection to a shop air supply.
