Custom Hydraulic Press Simplifies Maintenance

Beckwood Press Co. will feature a 30-ton custom hydraulic press with a shuttle. The press features pre-preventive maintenance abilities, enhanced recipe functionality and a press-cam designed to facilitate easier factory maintenance. It is also equipped with safety mechanisms and check systems.

Beckwood also offers the Triform 610-20-3SC sheet hydroforming press is capable of forming both deep-draw and fluid cell parts. The high-pressure, small-format press is compatible with PAM-Stamp simulation software. According to the company, the machine can handle part-forming recipes with as many as 30 steps and can store more than 500 jobs. The press provides sequential programming of pressure ranging to 20,000 psi. Additional features include system diagnostics, alarm handling and logging, an “in-sight” feature for visual inspection, and PLC input/output visualization.
